We are currently seeking a Strategic Service Accounts Manager - EMEA to enhance our operations across Europe.

The Strategic Service Accounts Manager will be responsible for fostering growth in service sales and profitability within designated accounts, aiming to establish Vertiv as the preferred partner throughout the entire product lifecycle.

In collaboration with Strategic Account Managers and Directors, you will oversee the long-term relationship management with assigned strategic accounts, taking ownership of the service account planning and review processes while representing the company to the account's stakeholders.

Your role will involve executing the service sales strategy in alignment with Vertiv's overall objectives, working alongside peers, local service organizations, and various internal teams to surpass customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for achieving service sales targets for assigned accounts.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with accounts to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify commercial and technical needs, analyze root causes, and propose both short- and long-term solutions.
  • Create and manage the Service Account Plan and Service Activity Plan, leading service business development initiatives for the short to medium term.
  • Oversee the sales of all service pillars in collaboration with Strategic Account Managers.
  • Work closely with the Sales Account Manager responsible for the account to ensure a unified customer interface.
  • Contribute to market monitoring, identify new business opportunities, and drive service action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company Code of Conduct and Trade Compliance in all activities and responsibilities.

To succeed in this role, you will need industry experience, commercial insight, and the ability to cultivate strong internal networks within the Vertiv community. Achieving your targets will require effective coordination across various business segments to meet customer needs, making strong communication skills essential. Additionally, you should possess the technical knowledge to comprehend the full range of Vertiv's service and product offerings.

Service sales represent a crucial revenue stream for Vertiv, and we are looking for a highly skilled, motivated, and ambitious individual to fulfill this role within our organization.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Economics.
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in service management or service sales.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Exceptional business negotiation skills and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Highly developed communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the competitive landscape within the segment.
