Role Overview

As part of our Security team, you will leverage intelligent technology and advanced threat expertise to support organizations that constitute the UK's Critical National Infrastructure. This specialized team simplifies day-to-day cybersecurity operations, allowing clients to focus on their strategic priorities.

Vodafone Business Security Enhanced (VBSE) is committed to safeguarding Vodafone Business, its employees, and customers. It is crucial to maintain a consistent approach to information security across the entire Vodafone Business.

In this role, you will serve as a Security Officer for a key Vodafone Business account, managing the Information and Cybersecurity needs of our clients. You will provide security leadership, technical insights, and ensure that security acts as an enabler for Vodafone and its customers. The Customer Account Security Manager (CASM) will be the primary Vodafone contact for all security-related matters concerning the customer, ensuring the effective delivery of security services as outlined in the Master Service Agreement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for all customer security issues related to Vodafone.
  • Monitor and uphold compliance with all contractual security obligations, including agreed reporting. Participate in customer security forums and oversee client security audits.
  • Collaborate with various Vodafone Lines of Business to advocate for the customer's current and evolving security posture.
  • Conduct security and risk assessments, audits, and manage significant changes.
  • Support account inquiries (Commercial / Service / Technical), identify security opportunities, and provide bid assistance.

Candidate Profile

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to technical and non-technical, multinational audiences.
  • Proven experience in managing customer relationships within a Security team, delivering security advice, reporting, and guidance to clients.
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging security landscapes and the challenges posed by evolving regulatory and legal frameworks.
  • Experience across multiple sectors (public, retail, utilities, financial, etc.).
  • Proactive in fulfilling obligations, providing regular and accurate reporting on security status, risks, and issues across the CASM community.
  • Possession of CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or equivalent (or willingness to obtain one or more).
  • Industry experience within a Security team.
  • Ability to achieve relevant Security Clearance and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification.
