Role Purpose

In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Casualty Underwriting team, focusing on the Professional Indemnity and Healthcare sectors.

Your contributions will be vital in shaping the underwriting approach to ensure that we write profitable business.

You will leverage your market insights to identify new opportunities, refine policy wordings, and consider legal aspects relevant to the class while utilizing existing relationships to benefit Brit.

Working alongside Underwriting Directors and Portfolio Management, you will continuously enhance underwriting strategies tailored to specific classes.

Engage with Portfolio Management to assess various segments of the portfolio, using feedback from distribution partners and market trends to optimize our commercial strategies.

If you possess a proven track record in developing and implementing successful business strategies, excel in negotiation and communication, and have extensive knowledge of Professional Indemnity within the Lloyd's market, we encourage you to explore this opportunity.

This role offers the chance to work collaboratively with underwriters and account management teams to enhance underwriting performance.
