Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Care Support Specialist to join our team at The Lodge in Highbridge. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care and support to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex mental health needs, including Autism, learning disabilities, and behaviors that challenge.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individual care plans that promote independence and well-being.
  • Support individuals to engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional health, such as swimming, meals out, personal shopping, and family visits.
  • Provide daily living skills support, including personal care, to enable individuals to live independently.
  • Work closely with the care team to identify and address any concerns or issues that may impact an individual's care and well-being.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a care or support role, preferably with individuals with complex mental health needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
