About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Apprentice Care Support Specialist. As a key member of our Children's Continuing Care Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with complex health needs.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and individualized care to children with complex health needs, following their personalized care plans.
- Work collaboratively with our nursing team to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in healthcare.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and respectful team culture.
Requirements
- Valid UK Driving Licence and access to a car for travel to and from family homes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
