Position Overview
This role offers a welcome payment of 5% of the starting salary for the grade, payable upon successful completion of your probationary period, subject to eligibility criteria.
We are in search of a dedicated and passionate individual to join our permanent workforce as a Support Care Specialist within one of our Extra Care schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care services to individuals in their own homes.
- Assist residents with daily living activities while promoting independence.
- Collaborate with a team to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
About the Role
Our council is committed to providing innovative training to enhance skills and inspire personal growth. We aim to foster a supportive environment that encourages individuals to thrive.
Experience in care is beneficial but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided. This is a part-time position that operates on a rota system, with additional pay for weekend and out-of-hours shifts. This role is offered on a permanent basis, and we also invite staff to join our bank team.

Our Extra Care Housing at St Johns Court is designed for adults with varying care needs, providing a supportive community atmosphere. Located centrally, it is easily accessible and offers facilities for staff parking.
