About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Apprentice Care Support Specialist. As a key member of our Children's Continuing Care Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with complex health needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and individualized care to children with complex health needs, following their personalized care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with our nursing team to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a seamless care experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in healthcare.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Valid UK driving license and access to a car for travel to and from family homes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional care.
