Purpose

The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of ARDEX UK. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and market share in key sectors, including transport, retail, restaurants, marine, leisure, education, and health.
  • Identifying and investigating new commercial market sectors for existing and future products.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with senior-level decision-makers to promote the ARDEX GROUP partnership and develop strategic alliances with complementary manufacturers.

Main Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders in various sectors, including education, healthcare, house builders, commercial premises, major retail store groups, swimming pools, leisure centers, national restaurant chains, local and health authorities, and major projects.
  • Establishing standard specification packages for each sector and promoting the use of ARDEX GROUP products and services.
  • Developing and maintaining a database of contacts and market information to inform business development strategies.
  • Preparing monthly management reports and providing market information through established reporting channels.

Main Aims

The Business Development Manager will aim to:

  • Establish ARDEX UK as the preferred supplier in the tiling, flooring, and screeding industries.
  • Develop long-term strategies for each complementary manufacturer and market sector.
  • Maintain live information on each client or customer to inform business development strategies.
  • Investigate and develop agreed action plans for identified major projects and implement them in collaboration with the Head of Business Development, Area Managers, Marketing Department, and Technical Services.
