Childrens Residential Team Leader

Job Title: Senior Team Leader - Childrens ResidentialWe are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Team Leader to join our Childrens Residential team. As a Senior Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading shifts, deputising for the Registered Manager, and ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead shifts and deputise for the Registered Manager as required
- Ensure that our team of Residential Care Workers are up-to-date with all mandatory learning and assist with their individual development
- Communicate with the on-site team and raise awareness regarding individual care plans and their implementation
- Maintain accurate written records in logs, continuation sheets, and files
- Contribute to team and staff meetings to facilitate good communication and staff development
- Provide support and care to the young people within our services
- Encourage our young people in their preparation to re-enter education or engage in their current schooling
- Travel with our young people to and from School or College
- Prepare food at meal times and maintain the home (cleaning, laundry, etc.)
- Organise and facilitate social activities
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
- Must have the desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent Children & Younger Peoples workforce
- 12 months experience working in a Residential setting is highly desirable

We offer a competitive rate of pay, up to £14.50 per hour, dependent on experience/qualifications, as well as a range of benefits including training and development plans, 28 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays, and a company pension.
