Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Children's Residential Services Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional care and support to children in our residential home. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery, while promoting a positive and supportive environment for our young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to children in our residential home.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child, in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including OFSTED and SCCIF guidelines.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports and safeguarding concerns.
- Collaborate with our Regional Manager and other stakeholders to achieve our organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Significant experience of working in a residential childcare setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and support.
- Previous management experience, with a strong understanding of leadership and team management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and external partners.
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances, including out-of-hours emergencies.
- Hold a current UK Driving License and have access to a vehicle for business purposes.
