Job Title: Children's Residential Services Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Children's Residential Services Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional care and support to children in our residential home. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery, while promoting a positive and supportive environment for our young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to children in our residential home.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child, in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including OFSTED and SCCIF guidelines.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports and safeguarding concerns.
  • Collaborate with our Regional Manager and other stakeholders to achieve our organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience of working in a residential childcare setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Previous management experience, with a strong understanding of leadership and team management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances, including out-of-hours emergencies.
  • Hold a current UK Driving License and have access to a vehicle for business purposes.
