About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (279). As a key member of our cancer care team, you will play a vital role in providing expert psychological support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients with cancer and their loved ones.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address patients' emotional and psychological needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patients' needs and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Provide training and supervision to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in cancer care.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in clinical psychology or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working in cancer care or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
