Job Summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and caring Deputy Service Manager to join our team in a Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Service Manager and have joint responsibility for managing the team and the service.
  • Plan and manage rotas, lead staff teams, and ensure compliance within the service.
  • Encourage independence and support individuals to make their own choices.
  • Ensure the safety of service users and follow care plans for each individual.
  • Take service users out into the community and participate in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
  • Varying levels of personal care.
Requirements
  • NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willingness to work towards Level 3.
  • Senior Support Worker experience.
  • Must be resilient and have a valid driver's license due to the nature of the role.
  • Candidates must be happy to provide personal care.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary of £26,000 - £27,000.
  • Full-time permanent contract with 40 hours per week.
  • Monday-Friday working hours with one weekend day shift every 4 weeks.
