About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Lidl in Deutschland. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team, driving sales growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of store colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager, making key decisions to drive business results
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency
  • Monitor and control store expenses, inventory, and stock levels
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to set and achieve business objectives
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to store colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a retail or fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering results
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
