About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Lidl in Deutschland. As a Deputy Store Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the store, working closely with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth running of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager, taking ownership of the store and leading by example to support your colleagues.
  • Set a spectacular example for the Store Team and your customers, demonstrating excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Lead and inspire the team to fulfill their potential every day, using our Leadership & Company Principles to drive success.
  • Independently manage the store's cash processes, monitor stock integrity, and ensure compliance with Health and Safety laws and standards.
  • Be a friendly face for every customer, offering excellent service and helping with all customer queries.

Requirements

  • Experience leading and developing a team in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to help your colleagues and customers in a friendly and open way.
  • A knack for time management, delegation, and problem-solving.
  • The confidence to support your team through every shift.
