Liberty Gas Group is pleased to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Gas Operations Team Leader to become a vital part of our organization. This role is based in our central office, with responsibilities extending across various locations.

This position is a full-time, permanent role, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. In return, we offer a competitive salary ranging from £35,148 to £39,375 per annum, along with a company vehicle, fuel card, and a comprehensive benefits package. As the Gas Operations Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the execution of Liberty's growth strategy by overseeing contract obligations for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the implementation of future growth strategies by managing contract obligations for a diverse range of projects, including gas installations, maintenance, repairs, and comprehensive service tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with client and business KPIs.
  • Primarily work in the field, supervising a team of engineers to carry out a wide array of tasks in both residential and commercial settings.
  • Oversee project delivery and act as a deputy for line management.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assets, van stock, PPE, uniforms, and vehicles.
  • Possess a strong understanding of contract parameters and their implications.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of company procurement processes.
  • Implement and adhere to the company escalation protocol.
  • Provide support in both field operations and back-office processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are seeking a candidate who possesses:

  • Recognized formal training with relevant craft qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent.
  • ACS Qualifications including CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT, and LPG; UNVENTED qualifications are advantageous.
  • A solid understanding of gas legislation.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and best practices.
  • The ability to manage time and workload effectively.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, showcasing excellent service skills.
  • Flexibility in work approach.
