Aerospace Business Development Manager

Job Overview: The Builders Hub is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our aerospace sales team. The ideal candidate must have experience in the builders merchant background, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and drive revenue growth.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to drive performance and achieve sales targets.
- Monitor sales metrics and provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key clients, leveraging industry connections and market knowledge.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth, staying up-to-date with industry developments and competitor activity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales management, with a strong track record of driving sales growth and delivering results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to manage and lead a team effectively, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to team members.
- Previous experience in the construction industry from a builders merchant background is highly desirable.
Working Arrangements:
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours to accommodate business needs.
Education and Qualifications:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred).
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Retail sales experience: 1 year (preferred).
- Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred).
- Customer service experience: 1 year (preferred).
- Retail management experience: 1 year (preferred).
- Management experience: 1 year (preferred).
- Driving Licence (preferred).
Location: Hybrid remote in Croydon.
