Job Overview: The Builders Hub is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our aerospace sales team. The ideal candidate must have experience in the builders merchant background, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and drive revenue growth.
  2. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to drive performance and achieve sales targets.
  3. Monitor sales metrics and provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  4. Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key clients, leveraging industry connections and market knowledge.
  5. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  6. Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth, staying up-to-date with industry developments and competitor activity.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in sales management, with a strong track record of driving sales growth and delivering results.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  3. Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Ability to manage and lead a team effectively, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to team members.
  5. Previous experience in the construction industry from a builders merchant background is highly desirable.

Working Arrangements:

  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours to accommodate business needs.

Education and Qualifications:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred).

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Retail sales experience: 1 year (preferred).
  • Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred).
  • Customer service experience: 1 year (preferred).
  • Retail management experience: 1 year (preferred).
  • Management experience: 1 year (preferred).
  • Driving Licence (preferred).

Location: Hybrid remote in Croydon.
