Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Coordinator to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As an Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our Engineering Consultancy team in their daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Engineering Consultancy team, including managing office activities, covering telephones, typing, scanning, and photocopying.
  • Office Inventory Management: Oversee the management of office inventory, ensuring an adequate supply of consumables, such as stationery, printer ink, and first aid kits.
  • Correspondence and Communication: Manage office correspondence and communication, including fielding enquiries for the Structural Engineers.
  • Project Support: Assist with the production of project reports, gather information for sales invoicing, and update company records, including holiday charts and sickness.
  • Scheduling and Meetings: Schedule meetings and appointments, and record and follow up on actions from internal meetings.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as an Administrator or similar role.
  • IT Skills: Good IT skills in MS Office, specifically Excel and Word.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written communication skills with a good level of numeracy.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
