We are seeking an experienced and committed individual to become a Deputy Manager within a brand new children's residential service in Chudleigh Knighton, Newton Abbot.

The successful candidate will have experience as a Children's Support Worker / Team Leader within a similar social care setting or with Young People, and hold a Level 3 NVQ in Children & Young People or equivalent.

The role involves supporting the manager and team in all aspects of the day-to-day operations, including managing staff teams, and budgets, and ensuring that the quality of the services provided meets expected care standards.

The Deputy Manager will be responsible for encouraging the young people to do activities and take responsibility for their own lives depending on their age, and will be required to deal with challenging behaviours when needed.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for protecting children and young people from risks to their health and welfare, and supporting the children and young people in the home and promoting their independence and well-being.

The role offers a competitive salary of £36,504 per annum, and a range of benefits including free meals whilst on shift, casual dress code, and a comprehensive training package.
