Deputy Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Lidl. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of store colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by Example: Set a high standard of performance and behavior for your team, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
- Store Operations: Independently manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Team Development: Lead and inspire your team to achieve their full potential, providing coaching, guidance, and support to help them grow and develop in their roles.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and minimizing stock discrepancies.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety laws, standards, and guidelines, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all colleagues and customers.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience of leading and developing a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and external partners.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze situations, identify solutions, and implement effective actions.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a busy store environment.
