About the Role

The primary focus of the Technology Support Services (EUC) Engineer is to guarantee the seamless operation of daily technical services related to end-user computing. This role involves managing technical incidents while providing outstanding customer service to employees.

In this position, you will closely collaborate with fellow engineers, taking the initiative to assist and resolve incidents as needed. Your main goal as an EUC Engineer is to ensure high-quality customer service and deliver effective 1st and 2nd line technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line EUC support under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain end-user devices and software applications.
  • Assist end-users with hardware and software challenges.
  • Continuously seek and implement opportunities to enhance EUC services.
  • Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and manage customer expectations effectively.
  • Deliver exceptional service with a focus on customer satisfaction and responsiveness to internal needs.
  • Maintain and support Windows technology within the office environment, addressing issues promptly.
  • Participate in and implement aspects of business projects as required.
  • Follow established policies and procedures, proactively suggesting necessary updates to ensure documentation remains current.
  • Contribute positively to the technical team, fostering a strong work ethic.

About You (Desired Experience)

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience in 1st and 2nd line support within a large helpdesk or desktop support environment.
  • Background in end-user computing support or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in providing technical support for Windows 10/11 and MAC OS X.
  • Understanding of network infrastructure.
  • Logical approach to problem-solving until resolution.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, supporting fellow EUC team members.
  • A valid UK driving license.

Desirable Qualifications

  • IT or Customer Service qualifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation, NVQ) are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Windows Powershell technology is beneficial.
  • Skills in configuring Android and iOS devices.
  • Experience with Intune and/or JAMF MDM configuration.
