Overview of the Position

In the role of Senior Customer Engineer, you will deliver comprehensive technical assistance across hardware, software, and networking domains. This includes troubleshooting, staging, configuration, and resolving issues for both internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a diverse array of technical tasks either remotely or on-site to fulfill business and client needs.
  • Organize small teams to deliver fundamental work packages in accordance with company protocols to satisfy business and client expectations.
  • Offer Technical Leadership in your specific area of expertise.
  • Maintain documentation and reports on completed tasks to ensure adherence to Company and Client Procedures.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 4+ years of experience in Data Center operations, Networking, and IT.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
  • A dependable mode of transportation.
  • Willingness to travel within the United States for project engagements.
  • Proficient knowledge of IT systems including data centers, rack and stack operations, cable installation and management, interpreting technical documentation, network setup, remote assistance, and rack installation.
  • Skills in teamwork, leadership, customer service, interpersonal communication, and time management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical school qualification is preferred, along with relevant experience and industry certifications.
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Skills in hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Knowledge of PC imaging processes and protocols.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting.
  • Experience in mobile device support.
  • Familiarity with Audio Visual support.
