Position Overview:

The Institutional Group at Fisher Investments oversees a substantial portfolio exceeding $40 billion in global assets for various institutional clients, including foundations, pensions, and corporations. Your Role:

As a Manager of Institutional Client Relations, your primary responsibility will be to ensure exceptional service delivery to our clients. This role involves regular interactions with institutional investors, which may include travel for in-person meetings as well as phone communications. You will provide updates on capital markets, identify unique service opportunities, and collaborate with other relationship managers and teams within the Institutional Group, including our Investment Policy Committee and research team, to fulfill client requests.

Reporting directly to the VP of Client Service, you will gain in-depth knowledge of Fisher's investment philosophy and its application across various strategies within your first year. You will enhance your skills in assessing client needs and learn to extract vital information from diverse client sources.


Daily Responsibilities:
  • Conduct portfolio reviews for clients and associated partners.
  • Educate clients on Fisher's investment philosophy, portfolio strategies, and market outlook.
  • Become the subject matter expert on your assigned clients and their investment objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Institutional ESG team to promote client co-engagement opportunities and advance ESG initiatives.
  • Anticipate and address client requests, identifying opportunities and potential risks for each client.
  • Recognize cross-selling and additional opportunities for Sales Relationship Managers.
  • Develop tailored action plans for each client to strengthen relationships and mitigate risks.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing relationships with institutional clients in the wealth or asset management sector.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
  • Commitment to maintaining high-quality work while adhering to self-imposed deadlines.
  • Ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences via phone, email, and in-person interactions, valuing collaboration.
  • Desire to deepen knowledge of financial markets, ESG, Fisher's investment philosophy, and institutional investment strategies.
  • Willingness to travel.
