About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our IT FCAS team at Leonardo. As a key member of our delivery organisation, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure operational goals are met in line with IT IBP and GCAP Budget.
  • Determine which projects and programmes are within planned IBP and GCAP budget that will meet business objectives.
  • Recommend and assess the impact of change brought about by new and existing projects and programmes.
  • Identify and mitigate strategic and project/programme operational and technical risks.
  • Maintain working relationships between IT and business consumers and customers.
  • Support the development of architectural roadmaps by gathering business requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external customers to understand business requirements, demand, and associated capabilities.
Project BA - Specific Lifecycle Responsibilities
  • Work with Business Partner and Product Owner to ensure New Demand projects align to operational goals and IBP schedule and financial planning.
  • Collaborate with Business Partner, Enterprise Architects, Operations, Product Owner, and Service Transition to prioritise project/programme technical and functional requirements.
  • Work with Business Partner to ensure project/programme passes Gate 1 Stage Gate Review in line with customer requirements.
  • Support Project Manager with overseeing and coordinating projects and programmes.
Key Deliverables
  • Capture, collate, review, and document customer requirements, business drivers, and system capabilities.
Requirements
  • Strong Business Analyst skillset.
  • Experience with Project Management Methodologies (agile and waterfall).
  • Experience in various facilitation methodologies (e.g. Design thinking).
  • Experience in capturing business requirements.
  • Able to arrange and facilitate workshops with key stakeholders to capture business requirements.
