Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract, analyze, manipulate, and present business performance information to identify issues and highlight success.
  • Provide support to all areas of the laboratory, maintaining high professional standards and conforming to Health and Safety regulations.
  • Utilize Q-Pulse Quality Management System according to authorized protocols, providing support in the maintenance and monitoring of the QMS.
  • Produce, implement, and maintain appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Train other members of staff on role-specific tasks, such as data analysis and report production.
  • Communicate efficiently, courteously, and with clarity with staff at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Coordinate, participate, and engage constructively in laboratory and other meetings.
  • Report incidents and adverse events, and enter information in the occurrence module of Q-Pulse.
  • Investigate incidents and report findings as appropriate.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required by the Blood Sciences Management Team.
  • Observe safety regulations and attend mandatory training courses as required.
  • Participate in risk assessment monitoring and ensure equipment is maintained and operated according to SOPs.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Q-Pulse Quality Management System.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH and Lifting and Handling policies.
