About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our Domestic Services team. As a Domestic Services Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and staff across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout inpatient wards, outpatient departments, corridors, and offices.
  • Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, buffing, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Dispose of waste responsibly, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the Domestic Services department.

Essential Requirements

  • Basic Food Hygiene and/or Level 1 Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
  • Demonstrated numeracy and literacy skills.

Desirable Requirements

  • NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Cleaning Operations or equivalent qualification.
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a cleaning role within a healthcare setting.
