Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as a Specialist Physiotherapist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist assessment and management of physiotherapy services for individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities and neurological conditions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and promote recovery.
  • Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including specialist seating, orthotics, and postural management.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, individualized care.
  • Develop and provide client-centered, goal-oriented rehabilitation programs and interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals with complex communication needs and their families.

Person Specification

  • State registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Recognized Physiotherapy degree qualification or equivalent.
  • Post-qualification training in learning disability and neurological physiotherapy.
  • Proven track record of post-registration clinical experience in learning disability and neurological physiotherapy.
