We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with complex needs, including those with learning disabilities and neurological conditions.
Main Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients with complex physiotherapy needs, using evidence-based practice and clinical reasoning.
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide clinical supervision and leadership to staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Contribute to the development of physiotherapy services, including the design and implementation of new programs and initiatives.

Requirements- State registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Recognized Physiotherapy degree qualification or equivalent.
- Further relevant post-qualifying training and experience in complex physiotherapy, learning disabilities, and neurological conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Evidence of post-qualification training and experience in clinical leadership and management.
- Knowledge and experience of research methods and critical appraisal.
- Membership of a special interest group or professional organization.
