Electrical Maintenance Specialist Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our client's dynamic team in Blyth. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical engineering maintenance work on all electrical services, systems, plant, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical maintenance work on all electrical services, systems, plant, and equipment
  • Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs
  • Assist with electrical installations and ensure compliance with current regulations
  • Work with a wide range of cargo handling equipment, including FLT, cranes, and heavy plant
  • Assist with the loading/unloading of cargos and learn all aspects of Stevedoring
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, services, and regulations
  • Experience working with cargo handling equipment (FLT, cranes, and heavy plant) is highly advantageous
  • Ability to diagnose electrical faults and carry out effective repairs
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
