Working Hours: This role operates on a 3-shift pattern:

  • Days: 8 am - 4 pm
  • Lates: 12 pm - 10 pm
  • Nights: 10 pm - 8 am (Monday - Thursday)

Job Description: As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that production machinery and equipment are running efficiently and safely. This involves performing both planned and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and conducting repairs to minimize downtime. Working with both mechanical and electrical systems, the Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician will take ownership of the maintenance schedule, ensuring high levels of compliance and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot issues and conduct repairs to minimize downtime
  • Work with mechanical and electrical systems to ensure efficient and safe operation
  • Take ownership of the maintenance schedule to ensure high levels of compliance and performance

Requirements:

  • Time-served Apprenticeship (preferred)
  • Minimum HNC in Mechanical or Electrical (desired)
  • IOSH Health & Safety qualification (preferred)
  • Strong fault-finding skills in both Mechanical and Electrical systems (essential)
  • Experience in a high-quality, process-driven environment (essential)
  • Multi Skilled Technician - Mechanical and Electrical (essential)

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of CNC equipment (Mazak, Haas, GMC, Star)
  • Experience with PLC fault finding, inverter control, and robotics
