Role Overview

We are in search of both mid-level and senior Client Managers. In this role, you will be tasked with delivering thorough and client-oriented services to a specific portfolio, collaborating closely with a Partner or Director. Your responsibilities will encompass managing a diverse array of clients, ensuring their financial and business requirements are addressed with accuracy and expertise. This position presents an exciting chance to utilize your accounting acumen while strengthening client relationships, contributing to the firm's growth, and playing a vital role in the seamless provision of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Service: Foster and enhance relationships with clients in your portfolio, tackling complex accounting and tax challenges while ensuring consistent communication and swift resolution of inquiries. Act as the primary liaison in the Partner's absence, ensuring all client matters are managed efficiently.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior team members, promoting their professional growth and ensuring high-quality client service. Inspire and lead your team, cultivating an inclusive atmosphere that reflects Monahans' values.
  • Business Development: Cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services. Collaborate with Partners to broaden the firm's client base through networking and direct engagement with potential clients.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated experience managing a varied client portfolio within an accounting or business advisory framework.
  • Strong grasp of intricate accounting and tax matters, with the capability to handle complex client work.
  • Proven ability to establish and sustain robust client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring teams, with a successful track record of developing junior staff members.
  • Solid business development skills, with experience in recognizing and capitalizing on growth opportunities.
