About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team at DP World. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build trust and long-lasting relationships with customers across various departments
  • Understand contract specifications and requirements, and ensure compliance with DP World's guidelines
  • Support the preparation of pricing, cost estimates, and commercial documents for quotation responses
  • Defend pricing to internal staff and customers
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions to meet customer needs and objectives
  • Forecast and track key account metrics, and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify new business opportunities and explore ways to expand our service portfolio
  • Support Senior Account Managers in quotation processes and presentations

Requirements

  • Bilingual with German language skills at B1 level and above
  • Degree educated in related disciplines (Finance, Marketing, or similar)
  • Demonstrated experience in Account Management, including the use of pricing templates, cost databases, and other supporting tools
  • Excellent knowledge of the automotive industry, services, and products
  • Effective interpersonal skills, with proficient oral and written communication across all levels
  • Highly customer-focused, with the ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to empathize and understand client viewpoints and requirements
  • Ability to interpret data and derive solid conclusions from analysis
  • Strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to create structure and organization within a fast-moving environment
  • Sound commercial awareness
  • Ability to cope with time pressure and flexibility to see the job through
