Facilities Operations Supervisor

Salary: £36,000 per annum
Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster and maintain strong relationships with essential stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee a team of approximately 30 personnel, ensuring effective management and motivation.
  • Contractual Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contracts and their implications.

Person Specification:
Essential Skills:
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams within a commercial Soft Facilities Management environment.
  • Experience in waste management and operational oversight across single or multiple sites.
  • Proficient in budget management and accountable for Profit & Loss statements.
  • Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.
  • Competent in IT and digital communication platforms.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to high standards of service delivery.
  • Commercially aware with an understanding of price-sensitive markets.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in professional interactions.
  • Integrity and respect for colleagues and clients.
  • Commitment to Health & Safety protocols and procedures.
  • Proactive and flexible approach to challenges.
  • Passionate about delivering quality service and taking ownership of responsibilities.

Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards in all activities.
  • Monitor and report on contract performance, productivity, and efficiency metrics.
  • Manage subcontractor services to meet client expectations and minimize KPI failures.
