Job Summary

This is a replacement post created to provide exposure to various roles, including Low Secure and Medium Secure Inpatient and Community Forensic Settings, in response to Junior Doctor vacancies.

The post holder will be appointed to a full-time, 10 PA role, providing cover for a medium secure inpatient forensic unit or a low secure inpatient forensic unit.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Day-to-day management of half the clinic caseload, with supervision from the Consultant Psychiatrist.
  • Preparation of reports for CPA and Tribunals, liaison with external agencies, and contribution to complex multidisciplinary care.
  • Responsible Clinician role (under the supervision of the consultant forensic psychiatrist and RC) for a small number of patients, including leading on decisions regarding medical management, liaison with external agencies, and providing reports for Tribunals.
