About this Opportunity

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced and motivated individual to lead the Group's Corporate Finance & International unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor the Group Corporate Finance & International team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for M&A activities and legacy portfolio management.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management.
  • Oversee the finance work stream for each transaction, ensuring rigorous financial due diligence, collaborating and challenging Group Corporate Development and business areas in implementing inorganic projects.
  • Conduct and review quantitative and qualitative analysis of business valuations to ensure comprehensive assessment of financial risks and impacts, including tax and capital considerations.
  • Develop and review accounting treatments for acquisitions in compliance with relevant IFRS standards.
  • Lead the management and mitigation of tail risks from disposed international businesses, developing and driving optimal solutions for country exits and project management through to liquidation.

What You'll Need:
  • Extensive experience in corporate finance, M&A, and strategic financial management.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent collaborator management and interpersonal skills.
  • Recognized financial qualification (ACA, CFA, ACCA, etc.).
  • Experience in high-pressure environments and project management.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to provide strategic insights.
