• Leading collaborative efforts with partners across HMRC and the wider government/civil service, actively promoting IA’s work to ensure clients are aware of our offerings.

• Recognizing the significance of intelligence and information in making assessments and ensuring these evaluations are conducted to the highest analytical standards.

• Supporting the continuous professional development of specialized teams, ensuring our personnel remain highly skilled and valued for their contributions to clients across the Customer Compliance Group.

Candidate Profile

Essential Skills:

• Exhibit exceptional leadership capabilities with a focus on driving professional standards.

• Learn from experiences, adapting your approach as necessary to implement improvements.

• Create an environment that encourages risk-taking and challenges existing practices.

• Build networks across multiple stakeholders to achieve your team’s goals.

• Advocate for and defend your team’s actions and decisions to senior leadership.

• Demonstrate an inspirational leadership style that promotes inclusivity and motivates staff through transitions.

We encourage applications from a diverse range of individuals, and inclusive leadership behavior will be vital in this role.
