The Role: Home Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Home Manager to lead our dedicated team at one of our esteemed care homes. As the driving force behind daily operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care, resident well-being, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and effective management to all staff members within the home, fostering a culture of collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate a compassionate and supportive environment that prioritizes the individual needs and preferences of each resident, adhering to best practices, regulatory guidelines, and industry standards.
  • Oversee the financial and administrative aspects of the home, ensuring responsible resource allocation, budget management, and adherence to company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders, promoting transparency, open communication, and a collaborative approach to care delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Home Manager or in a similar leadership role within the residential care sector.
  • A deep understanding of the needs of older adults, particularly those with dementia, and a commitment to person-centered care.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
