Chris the King Residential Care Homes is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Registered Care Home Manager to lead our Croydon Care Home.

As the heart of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest quality care for our residents while fostering a supportive and nurturing environment.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of the home's functioning, acting as the primary point of contact for residents, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Resident Care & Wellbeing: Champion the emotional, physical, spiritual, and medical needs of each resident, ensuring their individual care plans are implemented effectively.
  • Staff Leadership: Collaborate with the ownership team on recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management of our dedicated staff.
  • Financial Management: Monitor daily expenditures, prepare budgets, and ensure financial accountability within the allocated resources.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to all relevant regulations and standards set by governing bodies, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for residents and staff.
Your Skills & Experience:

We are seeking an individual with:

  • A proven track record as a Registered Care Home Manager in a mental health setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities, ensuring smooth daily operations and effective problem-solving.
