Job Title: Team Leader - Residential Operations Manager
Job Summary:
SuperCare Residential is seeking an experienced and adaptable Team Leader to manage operations at one of our residential children's homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading shifts, formulating support plans for young people, and fostering their overall welfare in accordance with the Children Act 1989.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shift Leadership: Lead a shift and ensure the smooth operation of the home, including direct work with young people, key working, and providing support and care on a shift work basis.
- Support Planning: Formulate support plans with young people, construct packages of support to meet their needs, and promote their physical, emotional, and social welfare.
- Collaboration and Partnership: Work in partnership with young people, their social worker, carers, and other relevant agencies to co-ordinate, monitor, and review Care Plans, risk assessments, and placement plans.
- Household Responsibilities: Share in the practical activities necessary to maintain the home, care for the fabric, equipment, and overall environment, and be accountable for moneys allocated for specific purposes.
- Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety checks are complete in line with policies and Ofsted regulations and standards.
- Personal Development: Keep abreast of good practice, develop skills, knowledge, and experience, and make use of regular professional supervision.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
- Work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, on a rota basis as required.
- Flexibility to work at other SuperCare Residential properties as directed by management.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
