About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Food and Beverage team at the Cake and Custard Factory. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, leading a team of Food Service Assistants, and ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Food Service Assistants to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department, including inventory management, stock control, and cash handling.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a food service or retail management role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Basic math skills for processing transactions.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is a plus.
