Job Title: Team Leader / Supervisor Level 3 Apprenticeship

About the Role:

The Aspire Training Team is seeking a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to complete a Team Leader / Supervisor Level 3 Apprenticeship at Harvey House Nursery as a Room Leader in their Toddler Room.

About Harvey House Nursery:

We have created a special place in Leytonstone for babies and young children to learn, explore, and engage with high-quality resources and practitioners. Our team is passionate about childcare and strives to provide each child with everything he or she may need at this important time in their life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape the curriculum and guide the learning and development journey of children under your care
  • Lead and manage the toddler room team, providing guidance, support, and professional development
  • Design and execute activities that align with the EYFS framework
  • Conduct regular safety checks and adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Reinforce positive behavior management strategies
  • Conduct two-year progress reports
  • Look after key children
  • Oversee children transferring into their room and out of room
  • Foster relationships with parents

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification
  • GCSE's A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills
  • Must obtain a clear DBS

Working Hours:

  • Harvey House Nursery is open between the hours of 07:00-19:00 Monday-Friday
  • Working hours will be 40 hours per week between 08:00-18:00
