Job Title: Team Leader / Supervisor Level 3 Apprenticeship

About the Role:

We are seeking a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to complete a Team Leader / Supervisor Level 3 Apprenticeship at Harvey House Nursery as a Room Leader in their Toddler Room.

About the Apprenticeship:

The Aspire Training Team has designed this apprenticeship to help individuals progress into a leadership role within the Early Years sector.

About Harvey House Nursery:

We have created a special place for babies and young children to learn, explore, and engage with high-quality resources and practitioners.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement curriculum plans to guide the learning and development journey of children under your care.
  • Lead and manage the toddler room team, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
  • Design and execute activities that align with the EYFS framework.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Reinforce positive behavior management strategies.
  • Conduct two-year progress reports.
  • Look after key children.
  • Oversee children transferring into their room and out of room.
  • Foster relationships with parents.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification.
  • GCSE's A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent (i.e., functional skills).
  • Must obtain a clear DBS.

Working Hours:

  • Harvey House Nursery is open between the hours of 07:00-19:00 Monday-Friday.
  • Working hours will be 40 hours per week between 08:00-18:00.
