Job Title: Team Leader

About the Role:

The Aspire Training Team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to complete a Team Leader/Supervisor Level 3 Apprenticeship at Harvey House Nursery as a Room Leader in their Toddler Room.

About the Team:

The Early Years team is passionate about childcare and strives to provide each child with everything they may need at this important time in their life.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Shape the curriculum and guide the learning and development journey of children under your care.
  • Lead and manage the toddler room team, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
  • Design and execute activities that align with the EYFS framework.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Reinforce positive behaviour management strategies.
  • Conduct two-year progress reports.
  • Look after key children.
  • Oversee children transferring into their room and out of the room.
  • Foster relationships with parents.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification.
  • GCSE's A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills.
  • Must obtain a clear DBS.

Work Environment:

Harvey House Nursery is open between the hours of 07:00-19:00 Monday-Friday, with working hours of 40 hours per week between 08:00-18:00.
