Position Overview:

The role of the Internal Communications Coordinator involves the strategic planning, development, and execution of impactful internal communications initiatives. This position requires a creative approach to engage employees through various channels while ensuring precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration: Work closely with business partners to design and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with the company's goals and values.
  • Content Planning: Create and manage an annual content calendar for internal communications, outlining key themes and deliverables on a monthly and weekly basis to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Impact Measurement: Analyze and report on the effectiveness of communication efforts using available analytics, gathering feedback from stakeholders to refine future strategies.
  • Content Production: Oversee the creation of various content types that support the full spectrum of Corporate Communications activities, including internal messaging, events, public relations, and social media outreach.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in communications or content development.
  • Strong initiative and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in software and platforms that aid in content creation (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, web content management systems).
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a solid grasp of various communication mediums.
  • Strong oral communication abilities and effective listening skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Adept at understanding diverse audience needs to inform content strategy.

Physical Requirements:

  • Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
