Role Overview: The Internal Communications Coordinator will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing impactful internal communications strategies. This role requires a multichannel approach that emphasizes creativity and meticulous attention to detail. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the Corporate Communications team's mission to enhance the visibility of the company's brand, strategies, and core values through effective internal and external messaging.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in communications, content creation, or journalism.
  • Alternatively, a suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrates initiative, motivation, and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in software and platforms that facilitate content development (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, web content management systems).
  • Skilled in capturing high-quality photos and videos to enhance content creation.
  • Exceptional writing and proofreading abilities.
  • Strong understanding of various communication channels and the ability to tailor content accordingly.
  • Excellent oral communication and active listening skills.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects and ongoing tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to comprehend topics relevant to diverse audiences to inform content strategy and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 30% Collaborate with business partners to design and implement comprehensive communication strategies that inform employees about topics aligned with the company's objectives and values.
  • 30% Create and sustain an annual content calendar for internal communications, outlining broad themes and detailing plans and deliverables on a monthly and weekly basis to ensure effective collaboration and execution.
  • 20% Evaluate, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of content using available analytics. Gather feedback from business partners and employees to refine and enhance future strategies and initiatives.
  • 15% Oversee the production of content supporting a wide range of Corporate Communications initiatives, including internal communications, events, public relations, social media, and investor communications.
  • 5% Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Remain stationary for 75% of the time or more.
  • Capable of moving objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
