Communications and Social Media Coordinator

Peopleworks, a recognized leader in the Public Relations sector and winner of the Work Happiest Workplace award for 2023/2024, is seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team. This position will primarily be based in our Central Norwich office, with the possibility of remote work as needed.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication abilities (both written and verbal), a flair for creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and a solid understanding of how integrated marketing, online platforms, and social media initiatives function. While a minimum of one year of professional experience in media, marketing, or related fields is preferred, it is not a strict requirement.

In this role, you will assist Account Managers and Directors in managing clients within the home interest and lifestyle sectors, crafting engaging content that reflects current trends. You will collaborate with the team to enhance social media interaction and boost overall brand visibility. Comprehensive training will be provided on the job.

Key Responsibilities

The Communications and Social Media Coordinator will:

  • Develop both written and visual content
  • Conduct market and trend research
  • Formulate social media strategies and action plans
  • Engage in image editing and caption creation
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients on a daily basis

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in English or a related field
  • ~ Ideally, at least one year of professional experience in social media, marketing, PR, or similar sectors (not mandatory)

  • ~ A proactive and innovative mindset
