Community Wellbeing Coordinator

We are excited to announce an opportunity within our Business Support team as we implement our Community Wellbeing Initiative. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Community Wellbeing Coordinator to join the Mental Health division within Adults Social Services. This role is centered around customer service, with the responsibility of providing a comprehensive range of administrative and support services directly to the Operational Teams and the individuals they assist.
As a Community Wellbeing Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact, engaging with various Stakeholders, Partners, and Clients. Therefore, exceptional communication skills are essential. This role is highly varied, supporting multiple teams with daily tasks such as sourcing funding opportunities or community programs, documenting meeting minutes, assisting with property protection requirements under the Care Act, processing invoices, handling phone inquiries, and organizing food assistance.
Additionally, you will be required to conduct visits to support the operational team, so having a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is necessary. The Community Wellbeing model aims to instill our vision of empowering individuals to remain independent, resilient, and healthy within their communities. The position of Community Wellbeing Coordinator is crucial to achieving our goals, and you will need to effectively manage competing priorities.
