Norwich, Norfolk, United Kingdom Norfolk Full time

Permanent contract | Salary: £12,147 to £12,989.50 per annum (Scale E) | Part-time: 18.5 hours per week

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a vital member of the Business Support team as we implement our Living Well initiative. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Community Wellbeing Coordinator to enhance the Mental Health team within Adults Social Services. The role is centered around customer service, requiring the delivery of comprehensive administrative and support services directly to the Operational Teams and the individuals they assist.

As the first point of contact, you will engage with a diverse range of Stakeholders, Partners, and Customers, necessitating exceptional communication abilities. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including sourcing funding opportunities or community programs, taking minutes during meetings, assisting with property protection under the Care Act, processing invoices, managing phone inquiries, and organizing food assistance. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining an updated list of local resources to address support requests from practitioners.

The role will also require occasional visits to support the operational team, so having a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is essential. The Living Well model aims to foster independence, resilience, and wellness within the community. As a Community Wellbeing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in achieving our objectives, managing multiple priorities effectively.

Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive induction program and receive ongoing training and support throughout their tenure, with opportunities for career advancement. If you are a committed team player with a strong focus on delivering high-quality support and possess a positive, proactive attitude, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Benefits include relocation expenses (if applicable), upfront travel expense advances, a Local Government Pension Scheme with generous employer contributions, life assurance, and dependants' pensions. Additional perks include referral payments for hard-to-fill positions and tax-efficient options for extra pension contributions, bicycles, and electric vehicles.

We recommend reviewing the full job criteria to ensure you meet the qualifications.
