About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthy Communities Coordinator to join our team at Places Leisure. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering our health and wellbeing programs and services to our communities.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in public health, community development, or a related field, with experience in managing data and communicating with diverse audiences. You will be passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of our local communities and have a deep understanding of the local sports and health landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver Healthy Community projects and programs, ensuring they meet best practice and mutually agreed KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key health and wellbeing partner groups, including Active Partnerships, the NHS, and the Local Authority.
  • Effectively communicate project information to stakeholders, including team members, partners, and community groups.
  • Contribute to the development of our health and wellbeing services, ensuring they meet the needs of our communities.
