We are seeking an Administrative Operations Manager to join our dynamic Trauma & Orthopaedics and Rheumatology Department. This role involves overseeing the daily management of administrative teams within the Clinical Delivery Group.

The Administrative Operations Manager will provide essential leadership to the administrative staff, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality and comprehensive administrative service.

Key Responsibilities

Assume full responsibility for the daily management of administrative teams within the Clinical Delivery Group. Monitor, evaluate, and report on performance metrics within designated service areas, addressing any issues with the Service Manager and proposing appropriate actions. Attendance at relevant performance meetings is required, along with the ability to act on behalf of the Service Manager when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

Proven experience in staff management Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment Demonstrated ability to meet objectives

Desirable

Experience in achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Participation in leadership training or a commitment to pursue such training

Knowledge Requirements

Essential

Understanding of Performance Management principles Familiarity with Referral to Treatment (RTT) performance Knowledge of cancer performance metrics

Desirable

Awareness of NHS IT systems Broader understanding of Department of Health and NHS operations

Educational Background

Essential

Degree in Management, Business, or Administration, or equivalent management experience Completion of leadership courses or a commitment to pursue such qualifications
