Colchester, Essex, United Kingdom East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Position Overview

We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our team and deliver essential administrative assistance to our Diagnostic Networks division. This role primarily involves supporting our operations while offering some flexibility for remote work.

As our portfolio has recently expanded, this is an exciting opportunity to engage with various procurement initiatives. Our networks operate collaboratively, and we are deeply committed to supporting our healthcare partners.

The Diagnostic Networks play a crucial role in fostering an environment that encourages professional development, skill sharing, innovation, and excellence in our services. The specialties within our networks include: Pathology, Diagnostic Imaging, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and Physiological Sciences.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to our networks, addressing inquiries from leadership, clinical leads, and domain leads. Your responsibilities will encompass general administrative tasks, meeting coordination, and data management.

Key Responsibilities

Organize and manage various meetings, including room reservations, gathering agenda items, documenting meeting notes/minutes, and preparing relevant materials for review and distribution. Compile and present detailed data to support the Network, which may involve creating and maintaining accurate manual and electronic data collection systems. Deliver efficient administrative support to Clinicians, Managers, Domain Leads, and Project Support Officers across the four diagnostic areas. Exhibit exceptional organizational skills, demonstrate flexibility, and maintain a high standard of professionalism while ensuring confidentiality and integrity. Implement identified service enhancements to improve administrative workflows.

Our Staff Health and Wellbeing program provides a range of services to support our employees.

Our philosophy emphasizes the importance of time for everyone. Throughout the Trust, we focus on enhancing our processes and eliminating delays for both staff and patients.

We are dedicated to advancing our commitment to efficiency through partnerships with leading electronic patient record (EPR) providers, aiming to transform the experience for both staff and patients.
